1. Our approach

Nomini is built for entertainment. Set a budget before you start, play only with spare funds, keep an eye on the clock and take regular breaks. Never chase losses, and never gamble money you need for everyday living. If gambling has stopped being fun, step away and use the tools and contacts on this page.

2. Controls in your account

• Set a budget before you play. Decide what you can comfortably afford to lose and treat it as the cost of the entertainment, not as a stake you expect back.
• Watch the clock. Long, unbroken sessions make it harder to judge what you are spending. Break them up deliberately.
• Keep gambling separate from borrowing. We do not offer credit, and you should not fund play with borrowed money.
• Check your history. Your account shows your deposits, bets and withdrawals so you can see your real position rather than an estimate.
• Ask for a limit or a timeout. Our support team can apply a cooling-off period to your account on request, 24 hours a day.

3. Taking a break and self-exclusion

If you would like time away, contact us on live chat or email support@nomini.com from your registered address and ask for a timed break or for self-exclusion. Our team will close your account as soon as possible.

When you ask to be excluded, you must tell us about any other accounts you hold with us and agree not to open new ones. We make reasonable efforts to prevent new registrations in your name, but you remain responsible for not attempting to open one. A self-exclusion cannot be reversed on request before the period you agreed has run its course.

4. Age limit and protecting under-18s

Nomini accepts customers aged 18 and over only. We verify the age of every registered player during the KYC process, and accounts belonging to under-18s are blocked immediately, with winnings from that period cancelled.

If children use your device, protect your login details and payment methods and install filtering software. Tools such as Net Nanny and Gamban block gambling sites across a household’s devices.

5. Signs it may be becoming a problem

• You gamble for longer or spend more than you intended, again and again.
• You chase losses, trying to win back money you have already lost.
• You borrow money, sell belongings or use funds meant for bills in order to gamble.
• You hide your gambling from family, friends or colleagues, or lie about how much you spend.
• Gambling is affecting your work, studies, sleep, mood or relationships.
• You feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down or stop.

If several of these sound familiar, treat it seriously and speak to one of the organisations below. Support is free and confidential, and you do not need a referral.

6. Where to get help in the UK

• GamCare runs the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, free and open 24 hours a day, with live chat, structured treatment and support for family members.
• BeGambleAware provides information, self-assessment tools and routes into free treatment across England, Scotland and Wales.
• Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of people who meet, in person and online, to help one another stop gambling.
• Gambling Therapy offers free online support and counselling, including for people affected by someone else’s gambling.
• NHS gambling support provides specialist clinics for people experiencing gambling harm.
• Citizens Advice and StepChange give free, independent advice if gambling has left you with debt.

7. Extra layers of protection

The tools in section 3 work on your Nomini account, and you can ask us for a limit, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion at any time using the contacts in section 8. We will act on the request without asking you to justify it.

If you want cover that reaches further than one account, combine that request with blocking software such as Gamban, which blocks gambling sites and apps across your devices, and with a gambling block on your bank card, which stops gambling transactions at source — most major UK banks offer this in their app. Used together, these three steps give the strongest protection.
